Password reset email not received
Hi! I created my account back in 2016-2017 and I didn't use it for a while. I changed my phone since then and now I can't login because I don't remember my password. When I try to reset it, it says that the reset email was sent but I didn't receive anything. I tried looking into the spam folder and creating a contact with no-reply@dropbox.com but nothing worked. I know this is the right email because I got a lot of mails from dropbox about my account saying that my account storage is full and I should upgrade.
- If the account hasn't been accessed for over 12 months, then it means that it wouldn't be possible to regain access to the account of the files within.

Hey Goldfich, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Could you try adding "no-reply@dropbox.com" to your email's contacts or address book and repeat these steps to reset your password?

Hi! No, I don't have other devices connected to the account and the email was made with yahoo.
I was looking through the emails I received in all these years from dropbox and like 1-2 years ago they said that they deleted my account due to my innactivity, but after that email, I still got other emails saying that my memory was full and I should upgrade my plan. So my question is: is it not closed?

I have another account called yahoo mailbox, which was deleted due to not using it for a long time, and it has been restored. I need to receive mail when I log in to dropbox, but I can’t receive any mail from dropbox. I’m sure I’m going to use another mailbox to send mail to this yahoo mailbox. No problem, I would like to ask if there is any solution so that I can log in to the account of yahoo mailbox in dropbox

I have the same problem. 6 Digit code is sent to my emailaddress, but I don't receive it in my Inbox. And no, it's not in my Junk or SPAM folder. Keep resending it, but no luck...

Hello,
I'm having problems connecting to a paid dropbox account, when I use the password that was set I am told that the password or email is wrong.When requesting the link to reset the password, I cannot receive the link even following the instructions provided by dropbox.
Any idea what I can do? I tried to contact you via chat and searched through the support instructions, but nothing solved the problem.
I need to regain access to the account as it is an account used to back up a business computer.

Have you checked, to make sure that there are no typos in the email address?
Also, have you tried adding "no-reply@dropbox.com" to your email contacts, and followed these steps to reset your password?

Yes as I mentioned in the comment, I have performed all the solutions provided by the support and none of them worked.
The email is entered correctly and the payment is also in days.

Hey, I'm using and email that at some point previously was from someone else, I have access to the email account, but when I try to change or recover the password, the email with the link or something from dropbox doesn't appear, I already check and I don't have any block account from dropbox and I add the no reply account to my contacts

I have a Dropbox Plus account to which I have forgotten the password.
However, the mails for a new password do not arrive at the mail address associated with the Plus account.
I have checked the spam filter, added the Dropbox mail to the address book, set Dropbox as the desired mail and specified that Dropbox mails should never end up in spam.
It still doesn't arrive.I contacted mail support to solve the problem there, but unfortunately the support was about as helpful as dropbox - except that at least they answered.
I have written to dropbox support (There is an support subject for this problem in the support area) 5 times asking them to contact me at a different email address and have NEVER received a reply. I have tried two different mail addresses in case one of the addresses doesn't work either.Now I have created a second Free account to get any help at all...

Hi Alftrude, sorry to hear about that!
Do you have an open ticket with our Support at the moment? Keep in mind, that the reason you never received an email when you asked the agent to contact you on a different email address, is because we can't.
We can only contact you and reply back to the email address you're using to contact us. So if for instance you use the email: Dropboxcats@gmail.com to contact us, and ask us to send an email to Dropboxdogs@gmail.com, we can't do this.
You'd need to forward our email from one address to the other, then respond back to us.

sorry - this is not helpful, because I used the support window for: Forgot password but no access to the linked email - there you enter the mail address that is best to contact, and then the address that is linked to the account but you don't have access to, or where - in my case - no Dropbox mails arrive. Where can I find a normal support mail address of dropbox that does not go through a support window?
