However I am part of a family plan and the credit card used to pay for this is my partners, which has not expired. Is this a bug? I have the problem with updating my payment info while my card expired. I connected to staff and they ask a billion questions. After they could not solve the problem one of support guys suggested to downgrade my account to Basic and then upgrade it. It did not work but now I can't type to support in chat and by email because I am on Basic plan. I owned two computers. I had installed Dropbox basic on both. Then I recently purchased two new, replacement computers and trashed those old ones (before unlinking the Dropbox account from either one). I realize now (and I should have realized then) what a stupid thing that was. I downloaded the Dropbox app and installation went fine on one of the new, replacement computers. When I attempted to install Dropbox on the second new computer, I received a message that said I already had reached the maximum 3 computers linked to my Dropbox account. I am trying to change the email address on my dropbox account. I used to have two dropbox accounts but deleted one about 10 days ago. I am now trying to change the email on my second account to the email I used for the other account. Even after 10 days, I am still getting the error "This email address is already taken". When I try to login with that email address, it brings me to the signup page, suggesting that the email is not associated with an account. Did latest Dropbox update v219.4.4463 changed something in screenshot settings? Usually after taking screenshot I had this screenshot floating window in corner of screen, which created a dropbox link after this window closed. But a day or two ago this window changed to more advanced one (with 3 additional buttons) and option to copy image or link - since I din't like behavior I changed settings so that it created dropbox link but not show window. Now I would like to change this behavior again, but unable to find Screenshots settings in preferences. ChatGPT says that changing screenshot settings, including saving location (Private or Work account) should be under Settings > Backups > Screenshots, but it is not there and I'm unable to find one. Another suggestion is to do it in Dropbox Desktop app, but I don't have it installed, so the Desktop app couldn't be the place where I changed screenshot settings in first place..44Views1like7CommentsHow can I merge two accounts together?
