Page isn't loading when opening a file in "Excel for the web" on Safari
Hi - I'm hoping someone can help me. We've been using dropbox for a while and it's been going swimmingly, but in the recent few months there has been a change. When I open an excel document it used to open in 'Excel for the web' and was easily editable, but recently it's stopped loading properly. I'm trying to open it using Safari browser (my friend who is using Microsoft software isn't having the same issue), and now instead of the file loading it looks like this, but never loads: Can anyone help? I've restarted my computer and installed any updates. Many thanks.
My Excel updates are missing and, after sharing a link, it redirects users to the wrong folder.
24hrs ago i was working on my excel sheet which i saved. I created a new folder also and moved some documents in the folder. 24hrs later. i go on another of my devices and those new documents and last version of my excel sheet is nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, my dropbox icon shows i am up to date!! The worst that happened an hour ago, i created a link to a new folder that had documents to share to a group and the group members instead are having access to another folder totally not related! Everything is looking like its a film trick going on! Kindly inform if there is an ongoing issue?
How to prevent users from downloading my Excel sheet?
I would like to share a form, an Excel Sheet, with other users. But due to simple security topics an to safe "my work" (data and calculations) from black-copy I don´t want them to doanload it on their workspace, but to use it directly within dropbox for PC. So other users should be allowed to "write", but not to doaonload - Any Idea, if this is possible an how I can manage this in dropbox?I want to add my personal Dropbox as a place in Excel, but I'm asked to contact the admin.
I am trying to enable cosharing between me and a friend. To do that, I am trying to add my Dropbox as a place in Excel, but whenever I log into my Dropbox, which is my personal email, it tells me to contact an admin. But it is my personal email, so I am the admin? Does anyone know what to do? Thanks!

Hola, desde siempre trabajo desde mi iPad modificado los archivos de Dropbox con Office, en concreto con Word y Excel. Desde hace unos días me aparece este mensaje: “ No se puede abrir el archivo X está almacenado en una ubicación de servidor no compatible”. Rogaria que lo solucionarán, puesto que en mi empresa trabajamos de este modo.
Opening Microsoft files ends up in an endless loop asking for authorization.
I have dropbox personal and business accounts I have microsoft 365 family edition For some reason, everytime I try to open a file from dropbox into excel, word or powerpoint, it sends on and endless loop asking for authorisation, getting the authorisation and going back to screen asking for authorisation. Please help
Dropbox Microsoft Office Online not working: Clicking "Open in Word for Web" results in preview
I'm having trouble getting Microsoft Office Online to load properly. When I open a *.docx document as the preview and choose "Open with Word for Web" my browser opens a new tab and the loads the same *.docx file in the preview mode. If I go to the same dropdown and click "Open with Word for Web", it opens yet another tab that also ends up being the same preview folder. The Word for Web loads properly if I use the DropBox browser interface to create a new document. However when I close it, I am back to the original situation where if I try to open it with Word for Web it only loads a new tab in the preview view. Can somebody help me get this working again? Hi, I have a free dropbox account and have used it for years to store a few basic excel spreadsheets that I use daily. I have a paid Microsoft 365 account that I use on my android phone and lenovo laptop. For some reason the last few days, I am unable to open my dropbox excel spreadsheets on my phone. When I try to open the spreadsheet I get a log in page saying "Log in or sign up to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration". I log in using my dropbox user and pw and it just sends me to my onedrive. I have tried deleting the dropbox and 365 apps on my phone and re installing and logging in. I have tried to open the dropbox files by going into excel first and then trying to open the dropbox spreadsheet. Just always sends me to the log in page. It all works fine on my laptop, and after saving, my dropbox android app shows the newly updated spreadsheet. Dont know what has happened. Please help.
