Dropbox for Office add-on-Office365 suddenly doesn't work with Dropbox
I've used dropbox for quite a while on my hp envy laptop, windows10, office365. Suddenly, every time I try to open an office document (word, excel, pp - all), I get the following msg: "Excel/Word... is running into problems with the "dropbox for office" add-in. If this keeps happening, disable this add-in and check for available updates. Do you want to disable it now?" When I clicked YES (disable), it didn't solve the problem. I couldn't open any document without making a copy (and it didn't let me save the original). This is my all my work here, so this is urgent - anyone can help??

Deleting files to free up space should be reflected immediately on your Dropbox account. Why do I have to wait 12 hours to see the changes applied? If I reach the limit of my storage, that's what happens. I can't upload files because the system still thinks I'm full, when I'm not.

I wish to view my actual use of storage online vs. offline. If I choose to make available offline, then they should be equal. All past searches as well as Google searches reference old screenshots and nothing relevant to what exists today. Mac, is my PC, cloud is your Dropbox. If cloud says XYZ Gb is being used (12345,000 files, as and example) local PC should equal with XYZ GB and 12345,000 files being stored locally. How do I see, compare, validate, check? I have set up a new computer. Downloaded the Dropbox desktop app, same as previous computer. I am running Office365. Now all Word documents that are stored in DP are showing corrupted. I can login to DP directly and open the document but when I try to open through my DP shortcut on file explorer. Word docs will not open directly. The solution has been to open the document from DP and then re-save it on the computer in DP. So I still have access to the docs but it's very inconvenient. Is there a solution that would allow my documents to all update at once and be available again from the file explorer shortcut?I can't see my folders in offline only mode on Mac OS 15.1
I have a new install on a Mac (Sequoia 15.1). I opted to keep all my folders offline on the install. However in the Mac finder no folders are visible, only individual folders. On the webapp they are all there. I want selective sync and decide after the install what I want kept locally.
