Can't create transfer
I have not Ben able to create a transfer on my pc running windows 11 for months. When I right click on the folder then click send copy the create transfer window pops up as usual but when I click it the Dropbox logo just spins and spins and the progress stays at 0%. I am a photographer and this is how I send my photos. I can't get any response from Dropbox and renewal is coming up on 12.22.24 and needless to say if I can't get this resolved I will not be renewing. I know I'm just one little customer and won't make a bit of difference to Dropbox but I won't throw away my money on a product I can't use or a business or service with 0 support!
Lost my account and files
I was trying to log in yesterday through mobile app but I was directed to sign up. I tried reseting my password instead. After successfully resetting my password, it turned out to be a new account with welcome message and product tour. All my information details, profile photo are gone and plans was back into 2gb storage and all my stored files was gone. Empty account! I didn't receive any email notification from Dropbox prior this incident.
Shared Folder went missing
Dear all, Today is discovered that a shared folder I was using togehter with my wife vanished. Looking through the event page, I see an entry for November 18th,sataing "You have removedyour own access to the folder". Now, for my wife, I find the same message, even hough she is the owner of that folder. Nothing is shown in my deleted files section in the dropbox web app either. How can I get our files back?? Title, but, more context: I have files selective synced on my desktop and set to available in offline mode. On the website, suppose I move a Folder A into Folder B, when folder A was one of the synced folders on my desktop. What happens to folder A as it relates to the syncing on my desktop? Will I suddenly and automatically see Folder B also become available on my hard drive since folder A is now a part of it (ie it is now a nested folder and would need to see folder B to access folder A)? Hope this makes sense. I just don't want to radically mess up synced folders by moving them around on the site.
My app isn't syncing the latest changes.
Hello, It seems that the desktop application is not synchronizing files correctly to my computer. I have Excel files that are flagged as not up-to-date and showing an incorrect format, making them impossible to open. However, when I access the files via the web version of Dropbox, they appear fine, can be downloaded, and work without any issues. My disk is not full. I have already tried disabling synchronization on my computer and re-enabling it. After the locally synchronized files were deleted, the application re-downloaded them, but the problem persists. Hi, I have a family plan and I'm the admin. That plan makes available to every member a shared folder "Archivio Famiglia" that stands for "Family Room" I guess. My need is to setup customized credentials to my family members, for instance, I want to give view or edit access to specific folder only. Looking at the documentation Dropbox states that it's possible to set credentials in every sub-folder.. but I don't see (from web UI) any option in menu.
