Dropbox Passwords
293 TopicsI can't login into my Dropbox Passwords using the 12 recovery words.
I recently wiped my PC's hard drive to get a fresh start, I don't have any other device signed in to dropbox, so my only option are the recovery worlds. I input all the words, but then I get a red letter message that says "Something went wrongâplease try again." I know I have the right words because If I change any of them on purpose I'll get "That doesnât look right. Check your spelling and try again". Am I doing something wrong? or is this a bug?Solved24Views0likes3CommentsDropbox Passwords app does not send notifications to allow new device

I use Dropbox Passwords on 4 devices. My iPhone and my 'old' Macbook Pro, where everything syncs and works, and my iPad and my new Macbook Pro, where nothing is synced. Both just show me the 'Start adding accounts' screen. I've been through a looong list of measures with chat support, but nothing has solved this so far. Has anybody else experienced something similar? And maybe even found a potential solution?3KViews2likes23CommentsI'm trying to access Passwords from one of my 3 authorized devices, but get an error.
I have a Basic plan with 3 devices authorized. I am working from one of the 3 devices, and while logged in to Dropbox, it will not allow me to access Dropbox Passwords, saying I am already logged in to 3 devices. This is clearly an error, and I should not have to log out from one of my other devices to access. Can someone help?73Views0likes12CommentsPasswords not synced between Android phone and browser

On my phone I can open the Dropbox app, but when I open the Dropbox Passwords app, it is like I need to create an account and link to devices. All my passwords live there and I have no idea how to get back in?33Views0likes1CommentSet a separate master password for the Dropbox Passwords app on iOS.
Hi, the current solution for Dropbox Password App for iOS is very unsecure as anyone that know the iPhone password can easily access to the passwords wallet. This is the case i.e. when someone has to provide its iPhone to a service center for a repair and he/she has to provide the iPhone password to the technician. Some other Apps have a master password which is different from the iPhone one, so all passwords are securely protected. I think this is a must feature, otherwise the app is very, very unsecure... p.s. this is not the case for the desktop version, which already has a master password.27Views0likes2Comments
