Deleted a dropbox account without cancelling subscription
I emptied a dropbox account (as in downloaded everything I needed) then deleted the dropbox account. I did not cancel or downgrade the subscription to a free one before deleting the account so now the monthly fee is being deducted. I cannot go back into a deleted account and the ChatBot does not know what I am talking about.

Hey there, Shelly22, happy Friday!
Usually, when you try to delete an account, that has an active subscription linked to it, you should be getting an error, and the system most likely won't let you delete said account.
But let's have a closer look into this. Are you sure you don't have a second Dropbox account with a paid plan? Have you tried using our self-serve look-up tool?
Let me know more, and we'll take it from there!

Hi Megan
It definately allowed me to delete without changing plan.
Anyway, I logged into my regular paid dropbox account, went to support and sent a message and Vicky helped me. The team at dropbox was very responsive and it's now resolved, and they even refunding me the one amount that went off. (I tried to use support Chatbot) but it did not understand what I was trying to ask, so luckily I had a paid plan, so used support from there to speak to a human, which was very pleasant . Thanks for answering. I love Dropbox.
