Hello there, There is an offer from American Express where I get 40% off. Does this apply for one month only, or for as long as my Dropbox subscription is active? I couldn't find any information on the American Express website and neither here in the Dropbox Community. Thanks! Is there anyway to get in touch with an actual human at Dropbox? I am being charged monthly for Dropbox account that I do not have, and I cannot for the life of me get an actual person to help with this on the Dropbox side. Is the only option to go to my bank and dispute the charges? Thanks! Bethany2.1KViews1like18CommentsI was charged, even though I had cancelled my free trial
Last September, I used the trial period. Today I saw that Dropbox charged me monthly for this fact every month since then, even though I canceled my subscription. Charges don't appear in my dropbox account, nor is there an active paid subscription . I would like to know what happened and get a refund for my money.3.7KViews0likes24CommentsContacting Dropbox
Hello All! I have had a Dropbox account for over ten years. I knew it to be only ONE account that I have been paying $11.99 per month. I know there are many pictures and videos there. But, I have not logged on until recently because I have not had the need. When I JUST logged on (on a MacBook Air) for the first time in over a year yesterday, ALL of the pictures and videos are not there. There ARE a VERY few files of documents that I do recognize as being mine. I decided to logon using my iPhone, and see the same results. BUT, I did notice that the account type is listed as "Dropbox Basic Free." I am now thinking and hoping that there is somehow TWO accounts; the one with very few files, and the one that has all of my pictures and videos that I have been paying $11.99 a month for MANY years. HOW do I get in contact with someone at Dropbox to help me with this? The phone number of [email removed as per Community Guidelines] yields a bysysignal and is the only one I can find at Dropbox or Google for contacting them. Also, The user interface seems nothing like it used to be for me. Maybe because of the FREE vs $11.99/month account environment? PLEASE someone.....HELP! Thanks! Hi Dropbox Support Team, I am currently facing an issue with my Dropbox account. I initially purchased the Dropbox Plus 2TB subscription, which I paid for in full. Later, I tried a free trial of the Dropbox Teams/Business Account, but that trial has now expired. Since then, I keep getting prompts to provide billing information to maintain access to my files. All I want to do is cancel the Teams/Business subscription and revert back to my original Dropbox Plus plan, which I've already paid for. However, when I attempt to cancel the Teams plan, it warns me that all my files will be deleted. This is extremely concerning. I’ve tried resolving this on my own, but the support options are not helpful, and I’m struggling to find a solution. Can someone please assist me with removing the Teams account and reinstating my Dropbox Plus subscription without losing any of my files?Solved69Views0likes1CommentUpgrading business free trial
Hi, I am about to lose my mind with Dropbox. I signed up for the business free trial, and then was out of storage so wanted to upgrade to the actual plan, went through and added payment then it still does not let me upgrade my account. It shows that i have the storage but i'm not able to use any of the features, and when i send out links they all show temporarily disabled? I have no access to chat support, so need a ticket created ASAP why does dropbox not have any support phone #?253Views0likes12CommentsMultiple charges and credits for the same amount from Dropbox
I just received an email from Dropbox today saying thanks for upgrading to Dropbox Plus and there is a $119.88 charge associated with it. I never authorized any upgrade like this. When I go look at my credit card there are 4 pairs of charge/credit for that amount. Why is that happening? And why would this charge for Dropbox Plus appear without my authorization? For what it is worth, I would NEVER EVER sign up for a service like Dropbox if I had known the support options are ALL self-service - no ability to speak to a human. Pure garbage.82Views0likes3CommentsUpgrade went to the wrong account
Hello! My Dropbox today was connected to the work computer. So my boss payed for the Dropbox Plus plan, as he thought that was for his Dropbox. We have called the bank and they had cancelled the payment, because I really don't need this Plus plan. So I will inform also Dropbox staff here, as I haven't found any other place where I can contact.164Views0likes5Comments
