Refund Still Pending After Approval
Hi,
I was charged $119.88 for my Dropbox subscription renewal on November 21, 2024, using my Visa credit card (a full-currency international student card issued by China Merchants Bank). On the same day, I applied for a refund, which was approved. However, the refund still hasn’t been credited back to my account, and my bank statement shows the refund status as "pending."
I would like to know:
- Is there any additional action I need to take to expedite the refund process?
- How long does it usually take for refunds to be processed in such cases?
I appreciate your help in resolving this issue.

Hey Rachel666, welcome to the Dropbox Community.
If you've already applied for a refund for your payment and it was approved, there isn't any further action you need to take on your end with Dropbox for the money to return to you.
Refunds usually take 3-5 business days to show up in your statement, but since it's taken longer than that, I'd suggest reaching out to the bank that issued your card, to see what might be the holdup.
