Pinning Dropbox to Taskbar

How do I pin Dropbox to my takbar?  No matter what I try it will not add and then connect for use.

What, exactly, are you trying to accomplish? The Dropbox app sits in the system tray, not the task bar. The regular Dropbox on your Start menu icon opens the app on the system tray if it's not running, or it will open the Dropbox folder if the app is already running. You can pin that icon to launch the system tray app when it's not running, but that's all it will do.

If you're just trying to pin the Dropbox folder, then search Google for "how to pin a folder to the taskbar" and you'll find what you need.
