Banned for files containing malware
Hello there,
I recently got banned for sharing links with malware, however I know for a fact that the files I'm trying to share do not have malware in them. They are accessibility enhancements for people with vision impairments attempting to utilise digital audio workstation software.
I've been banned for high traffic before, but not once have I purposefully attempted to share malware.
As a user of a free Dropbox account, I can't email Dropbox or open a ticket so how can I get some assistance with this? I'd greatly appreciate any help.
Have a great day
TIA
Thanks for the nudge on this UsoT

Hey there Walter,
Thanks for your speedy response. I have been getting this ever since yesterday when I attempted to share a link to a person who required a file that I had, from Windows notification it says that I am a banned user, and from dropbox.com it said that dropbox is interupting my sharing because I have attempted to share a file containing malware.
I have not received an email from dropbox, however the popup on dropbox.com told me to follow the directions in my email. I've checked since then and have not received any email regarding proceedings I should follow.
Thank you

I have been using Dropbox for a while but now for some reason I can no longer share dropbox links due to some phishing problem, however I am unable to locate the file with problems or get help from support. Any help would be welcome.

They don't answer as I have only the basic Dropbox, so I think that I will have to stop using Dropbox unfortunately.
