1600 TopicsTrying to upgrade to Plus, but app claims I already have it
I'm currently on Dropbox Starter, which gives me 100GB, and want to upgrade to Plus for the 2TB. However, when I try to upgrade my plan, I am told that I am already on Plus - even though the app clearly shows I only have 100GB (which I have almost filled up). It then shows my only upgrade option being Professional, which is significantly more expensive than Plus and includes features I don't need.33Views0likes2CommentsI can't upgrade to the Dropbox Basic Extra Plan
I was on a Basic Extra plan for the past 18 months: 50GB of storage, no frills and only ~£18 all-in which was perfect for my needs. Since this expired I've gone to reactivate and there's no longer a plan for me, even the cheapest is far too expensive and has too much storage/features I don't need. Is there a way I can get in touch with a human from support to help me? The chat bot doesn't understand what I'm on about. Many thanks, Joe24Views0likes3CommentsIs there a cheaper plan than Dropbox Plus?
Many people do not need 2TB of data. So $9.99 a month is waste of money. But $0.99 a month for 50-100GB would be great with a 4 device limit. And perhaps another tier of 500GB for $2.99/month with a 5 device limit. Think about it. Seriously. Think about it.38Views1like3CommentsIs there a Dropbox subscription between the 2 GB and the 2000 GB plans?
Hi there, I'm looking to move away from Google Drive since Google is now forcing an incredibly intrusive AI on us that is making it much, much harder for me to navigate my folders and there is no way to turn this AI off. I am currently paying Google $1.99 per month for 100 GB of storage. I was considering upgrading to more storage anyway, but paying $11.99 for 2 terabytes of storage when I only have 100 GB of content to store is not in the cards for me right now. Is there any storage level between 2 GB and 2,000 GB for DropBox? It seems like there should be a 200 GB level or at 500 GB level or something since there's a massive gulf between needing 2 GB of storage and needing 1,000 times that?18Views0likes2CommentsI want to redeem the Dropbox Basic Extra plan.
I got a notification popup that offered me Dropbox basic-extra. It was around 500GB for around $6 a month. I was excited to take the offer but was busy with other people and the timing was not right so I thought I would sign up later when I got home. But the offer was gone. On a Live Chat a customer service person gave me a URL link to redeem it but it just gave an error that said it is not available. How can I get the basic-extra plan? It is just personal use and I just cannot justify 2TB or more money. Kindly let me know how I can upgrade to the basic-extra plan. Thank, Gary47Views0likes5CommentsI'm not seeing the Plus features, although I paid for the plan.
I upgraded to the Plus plan using the 30 day free trial but I'm nit seeing any of the features on the account. It shows up in my subscriptions but i dont have access to any of the features, when i try to upgrade again it tells me im already paying for the subscription cause of starting that trial.27Views0likes7CommentsSend and track discontinuation
I'm paying annually for an Essentials plan with you. Currently, I'm paying over $400 CAD per year. Between your discontinuing Vault and now discontinuing Send & Track, you're removing features that I've paid for and are also features that influenced my decision to go with Dropbox Essentials in the first place. I don't see you offering to reduce the price of my current plan that you're removing features from. In the e-mail I'd gotten about the Send & Track discontinuation, you offered a promo code for 3- months free of DocSend Personal. How nice of you, eh? How nice to offer me 3 months free of a service that I'd already paid for, you took away, and are now forcing me to pay for again to keep using! At the low low price of an additional $120–180+ in addition to the $400+ that I'm already paying you per year. 🤬 Seriously, what is going on with Dropbox as of late‽ Clearly, it's time we all start looking at alternative service.253Views2likes6CommentsStorage limit changed twice in the past 30 minutes
I'm on a free account and have had 6gigs of capacity since 2015 (in 2013 I had some 24 month promotional storage; that ended in 2015 and I've been at 6gigs of capacity since then; I even still have the email that says my account is dropping to 6gigs). I've been at about 5.75gigs of usage for years now. I don't have it connected to backup devices or anything like that. I use it for mostly cold storage of mostly small files. All of a sudden about half an hour ago, Dropbox stopped syncing. I hopped online to see what was up. It said I had a 2gig plan and was over my limit. I clicked around some more trying to get more information and now it's saying I've used up 5.75gigs of my 5.75gig capacity. I suspect surely this has to be an error. Any ideas? Very much appreciated :-)Solved25Views0likes2Comments
