Option for the 'Email to Dropbox' feature option to create your own email address
for "Email to Dropbox" feature i rather have random numbers for email address (like UUID number, "591b6596-1632-434b-9dea-fb85db01ceab") or option to create you own email address (UniqueName@addtodropbox.com or username@addtodropbox.com) (no special characters, like !@#$%^&*, this could cause problems with email apps/tools) this is much safer and easier to use .. thank you AndréChanging email address in Dropbox Business when sharing a file. Is it normal?
I have noted that if send out a file share to an employee using their company email account and that employee either saves it to his personal dropbox or to either his desktop or documents file which is set in his personal dropbox account to synchronise across his devices and dropbox that the email address for the invite in the business dropbox account changes to his personal email. Is this correct and Normal and are their any security settings that prevent this.How to update my billing info as a team admin?
I was recently made the Team Admin for our account. Our autopay credit card needs to be updated but "billing" does not show up as an option. How do I get this changed before the card expires and we lose service. I'm surprised there isn't an email address to ask these kinds of questions.
My Dropbox profile picture changed to my Google account's, after adding files from Google Drive.
I was logged into my Dropbox account misc...@gmail.com and used that "Upload from Drive" thing to grab some files from my other Google Drive account ish...@gmail.com. But then, out of nowhere, my Dropbox profile pic changed to the profile pic of that ish....gmail.com Google account! That's kinda strange, right? Especially since those are totally different email addresses. It feels kinda wrong that just grabbing files from a Google Drive would mess with my Dropbox profile pic. Imagine if I was pulling stuff from a friend's Drive – I definitely wouldn't want their picture on my Dropbox! \ Just wanted to flag this as something that seems a bit off and maybe not how it's supposed to work.
Linking multiple accounts
I have more than one client and so they create an email for me so that I can create a dedicated db account and access their files. I am just now finding out that I can only link my personal account to one business account. All the posts I see on this subject are labeled "solved" and by that meaning, that it's not possible to link more. As there been any progress on this topic? Hello, I registered my Dropbox account using xxxxx@yahoo.com, but I actually own the email xxxxx@yahoo.com.tw. Now, after changing my device, Dropbox requires me to verify via a code sent to @yahoo.com, which I cannot access. I believe I accidentally omitted the .tw when registering. I can provide any necessary proof or account information to confirm my ownership. Please help me regain access to my account. Thank you!
