Still says: Reconnecting to the Internet...This may take a moment
Hi @TechManager, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
What is the exact version of the Dropbox desktop application and the OS version you're running?
This will help me to assist further!

Having the same problem. This has been an ongoing issue for weeks. Sometimes restart fixes it, other times it will just hang for hours or even days with "Reconnecting to the internet...This may take a moment."
Hi @pcp812, could you let me know the information I requested in my previous post to see what is occurring on your end?

My desktop is running MacOS 12.7.4 and Dropbox 197.4.7629. However, this problem also occurs on my laptop, which is on an older version of MacOS (High Sierra, not sure of the actual version number).
Hey @pcp812 - sorry to jump in here, but do you happen to be running any security apps or programs on your computer that might be causing issues?
Have you tried quitting the desktop app and relaunching it after rebooting your computer by the way?

Not a one.

Yes, and as I said this is just a temporary fix. The next time I restart my computer, the problem crops up again. And the temporary fix doesn't always work.
In that case, could you try a simple reinstall and let us know if this persists @pcp812 ?
