Team activity insights you can see as an admin
No matter what your team size, and no matter what the industry is, Dropbox has some really helpful admin tools to make it easy for admins to keep an eye on on your team, manage files, and much more.
Here is some of the information you have access to as an admin, all on the insights page within the Dropbox admin console:
How files are used
This helps you to keep an eye on how your team are using their files. At a glance you can see how many files have been uploaded, downloaded, edited and previewed by your team in the last 30, 60 or 90 days.
Space used
Here you can easily see the total amount of storage space used by your team. No one likes being in the middle of a big task, only to find out there isn’t space to spare to save it. While this might be rare, if you’re you’re working with big files, big teams or something unexpected comes up, it helps to be able to see where you are with storage space.
Team overview
This is the quickest way to know when you need to renew, how much space is being used and how many members are on your team. This is handy to understand the general health of your account, so you can know when anything changes ASAP.
Numbers to watch
This is a handy little collection of key stats on the right hand side of your insights page, and includes links with no expiration or links with no password. This allows you to know that your team are ensuring the info they share is secure and managed. A simple but handy metric to keep an eye on.
Keeping an eye on your team and your account means you know when you need to renew, upgrade, or just check in with your team. And now, you have all the facts and figures right at your fingertips.
