I received a notification about shared files. Was it a scam?
I just received a Dropbox notification that I had received a set of plans from a client, but when I went to look at the documents it told me they were sent to me via a OneDrive link, but when I clicked the link it took me to eBay. Now that I have done this i realize this has to be a scam, but now what do I need to do? How does stuff like this get through?

It wont be a genuine Dropbox email. It is a fake phishing one - its very easy to spoof the outgoing emails.
I would suggest now changing passwords on all services you logged in to (OneDrive, Dropbox and eBay) as well as checking things like antivirus and phishing.
