Notification spam. I received the same notification 54 times.
I am having an issue where I received the same notification email 54 times since 4 days ago. I am not sure if this is a bug with Dropbox or something else. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hey MikeDidier, thanks for posting here today!
Would you mind clarifying what the email notification you received was, and where it came from?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Thanks Megan, they are activity emails from Dropbox for a folder I am following. It shows the same three file added notifications from a colleague but the times on those keep changing on each new email. this has now been sent to me 55 times. When I look at the files in Dropbox they were added days ago but I am still getting activity notices for them.

Hey MikeDidier, interesting!
Would you mind sending over a screenshot of one of the emails, please? Just make sure your email address isn't visible.

That sounds really frustrating! Here’s what you can do to resolve the notification spam:
Check Notification Settings:
- Open Dropbox and go to your account settings.
- Navigate to the Notifications tab and adjust your preferences to limit email notifications.
Check Email Rules:
- Ensure there are no email rules or filters that might be causing duplicates.
Update Dropbox:
- Make sure you’re using the latest version of Dropbox.
Contact Support:
- If the issue persists, contact Dropbox Support for assistance. They can help identify if it’s a bug.
I hope this helps!
