incorrect email address - can't edit or change it

When I signed up, I incorrectly entered my email address with a typo so I can't verify it. I don't get an "edit" option.  I have been using Dropbox for some time and don't want to lose my files by deleting and starting again.

Hey there PatriciaK1 - sorry to hear about this.

Can you please clarify if the typo is before the email domain or after the @ symbol in your email address?

Since you have access to the account at the moment, the best thing you could do is download all of your files and open a new account to upload them there.

In any case, please keep us posted!

This does not help me. I can't get into the Dropbox to get my stuff. I can't even upgrade my account. I can't do anything because the email is wrong so I cannot verify it and I bought an e-textbook that is in it for my class. the part after the "@" is wrong. It is a real domain, but not the one I am using.

Hey CE Craw, since the domain is real, can you try to create a new email address with the wrong email, to see if that works?
