How do I turn off the badge?

I work across a couple different computers, and so keep all my files on dropbox.  I can see the benefits of the badge, but I'm getting really tired of clicking "hide" every single time I open a document. Or if a have multiple docs open, and click between them (as I regularly do), I have to hit the hide button again and again and again.

Any way that I can have the dropbox badge off or always hidden until I ask for it?

I have selected "never show" in preferences, but I still get the badge popping up every time I open a document (see attached screenshot). It is annoying to have to click "hide" on the badge every time I open a document. Do you have any ideas as to how to actually make the badge "never show"?

        Hey there emilymm

Could you try the following steps and see if they do the trick?

        • Enable Accessibility for Dropbox from your Mac's Preferences/Settings page.
        • Enable the Dropbox badge.
        • Apply the settings.
        • Disable the Dropbox badge.
        • Apply the settings.
        • Disable Accessibility.

Let me know how it goes!
