Removing member from folder problem
Hi all,
I’m trying to remove a member from a sensitive folder who has left the organisation. However when I try to remove them I get a message saying - ‘Member Still Has Access. The member has still got access through a parent folder’
Any ideas how we get around this please?

Check the parent folder (or higher) and make sure they're no longer a member.

Hello,
The Dropbox account was established by a former employee but the ownership was not transferred after their end of service. His email is not longer active and we need to change ownership to get access to files.
Thanks,
Claudia

Hey foreroca, thanks for the comment here.
I'm afraid that if this account created the folder and is the owner, there's no way to remove them, or transfer ownership now, unless you can access that Dropbox account.
If you can access it, you can certainly change the owner.
If not, what you can do is create a copy of the folder and share that one with the rest of the members.
