Does Dropbox tell the file link owner WHO shared a file?
If I have sent a link to a file to someone to share it with them, will the owner of the file/link know that I was the one who shared? Or will they just see the person I have shared the file with?

Hi there riverfollower, thanks for reaching out to us on the Dropbox Community.
In general, users can't see who created a shared link. However, if the owner has viewer info available, and the user you send it to is logged in, then the owner may see them viewing it.
On that note, if you are on a Business account and they are the team admin, they may be able to see from their activity log that you created a shared link and, if the other user is on the same team, the admin may also be able to see if they opened it.
I hope this helps to some extent!
