I can't see my files, folders or sidebar
Been working with DB for quite a while Today, I've attempted to load, reload, restart computer, reload...you know the drill. WHat is going on?

Hi Everybody,
Our engineering team has implemented a fix. Please let me know if you are still unable to see any elements of Dropbox on your browser and I'll make sure that information is passed along for further investigation.
Thanks,

We'd need to understand the problem you're having before we can answer that. There are no current issues with the service.

Does the issue persist after clearing your browser's cache or on another browser, Kate?

I think dropbox is having issues as a whole right now for certain users, because I'm also experiencing problems viewing the dropbox homepage. Other pages on the website load and work fine, but when I try to access https://www.dropbox.com/home
It just loads for 5-10 minutes with the loading icon in the center, and then as that disappears, it just stays blank. I've tried different browsers, clearing my cache, etc.
Update: It randomly decided to start working again. If it starts having issues, I'll edit this.
Update #2: It, once again, decided not to work. Same problem as before.

I cleared the cache and was able to do some work, and download a few files. Now the field is back to blank. Very frustrating!!

Tyler,
That is EXACTLY what is happening to my DB account. When it was visible, I could not located a recent file I need to work on. I wish a DB tech person would contact us so we can get along with our businesses.

Ahh Haa! Clearing the cache did the trick. Thank you!😉

Walter,
I tried another browser: MS Edge. I could see the left nav pane and files. When I selected a file to download, the screen went blank and I got stuck there. What is another solution?

Walter, Megan, and other DB staff,
Seriously...I need to access the files on DB. I've been limping (mostly lame) for the past 2 days, now entering day 3. Again, the problem is not being able to view files in the viewing pane. The navigation pane shows up most of the time, but when selecting a folder in the left nav pane, no files are visible in the viewing pane.
THe cache is whistle clean since Wednesday, and I am beyond frustrated. I have not upgraded anything on my desktop that would affect DB. There are no new applications loaded on the desktop that would conflict with DB.
If you wish to chat, email me so we can solve this issue once and for all. I have reports to complete today and don't wish to be in this invisible viewing cycle all day long. I am considering moving to another platform for file storage as I have little confidence in Dropbox.
Sincerely,
KJ Herbs
- Neverevhoodo7 months agoHelpful | Level 5Hi, i'm an user like you but would suggest downloading and installing Dropbox app on your Pc or Mac and synchronising folders you need. DB has the problem only with browser version so I for example continue to work with desktop application.

Doesn't that add an extra step? Does the desktop app access the files on the "networked" DB account?
