downloaded video is choppy and laggy
After downloading the video is choppy and laggy.
I tried it on my android phone, my laptop (browser: chrome , firefox) , and via the Laptop app.
I tried viewing the clip in my phone , with vlc and the standard windows 10 media player. Since its a mov file i tried converting it to mp4 first which didnt work as well. if i open the dropbox link where the clips are uploaded they are not choppy. I dont know what to try anymore. Any ideas what is going on?

Hey amik, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please let me know if this happens with just this specific mp4 file or if it's affecting other files as well?
Have you made sure that your devices (and media players) have the necessary codecs to play this type of files on your machines?
If you could send us a screenshot of how this looks like on your end, it'd be very helpful too.
Let me know what you find!
- amikExplorer | Level 3A screen shot won't help since The video starts in slowmo while the sound is played at normal speed. The file is 163 MB large. I have this issue with all files I try to download. The clips are often still or in slowmo, then sped up or just slowmo in the beginning and then they jump through single pictures of the clip just as if it's trying to keep up with the audio.
VlC is able to play .mov files, what Codecs do you mean?

Hi amik, thanks for the added info!
You mentioned it at the beginning, I just want to clarify: the preview doesn't work when you download the file using the web, desktop and mobile app?
You also mentioned you're accessing the file using a shared link, right? If so, can you try adding the content to your Dropbox account, and check how they preview?
- amikExplorer | Level 3Yes Exactly!
Yes I did, it has an issue too. As long as it's online it works. However As soon as it's downloaded/cached as offline viewable it will put out an Black screen with "Error while loading File". And not play it at all.
