"Files" is an Apple app in and of itself (part of iOS 11) that allows you to connect to other cloud storage systems all in a single app. You can add your Dropbox account to it (along with other cloud service accounts) and access them all in a single application along with files that are stored on your phone from other applications.
If you select Save to Files you can easily select multiple photos from your Camera Roll and upload them to Dropbox.

Hey kjavitz,
Got you on that! At the moment this is not an available feature, though it's a popular feature request and I've made sure that our team specialists are made aware of your comments.
Please keep these creative ideas coming and let us know if you think that an idea will help improve your experience.
Cheers,

- Ilovechris1238 years agoNew member | Level 2This feature I think would really help my Dropbox experience becuase I need to save over 100 photos and it's hard and will take a long time if I have to save it one by one.

Yes, this feature is absolutely necessary on iPhone.
I will begin using google drive, just because as an internet marketer, I often (daily) need to move batches of images to my phone for instagram/social media posting. This can only be done, so without this feature, Dropbox simply does not cut the cake for internet marketers.
Unless this feature is added soon, I will be forced to use another application due to my (and others) required business infrastructure.
Thanks!

Hey ishbog,
I understand that the sorting functionality must be quite important to you and I'd be glad to suggest an alternative approach.
Have you thought of using Dropbox alongside with this app? It works well with Dropbox and it'll help you accomplish the organization of your photos for your social media updates.
I hope this is helpful to you, hope you have a great weekend ahead!

What about going the other way? I can take a single photo from Camera Roll to Dropbox, but I want to move about 75 photos from Camera Roll to Dropbox. As soon as I have more than one photo selected in Camera Roll, the Dropbox icon disappears from the available actions.
- Jane8 years agoDropbox StaffWelcome to the Dropbox Community! To upload multiple images, you’ll have to use your mobile Dropbox application instead! Let me send the steps over...
- Open the Dropbox app.
- Choose the destination folder that you’d like your pictures to be uploaded and tap the plus button (+) at the bottom of your screen.
- Choose “Upload Photos”.
- Tap "Camera Roll" on the top to change which album you upload photos from.
- Find the files you want to upload, and tap to select them for upload. Once you select all of your images, tap “Next” at the top right of your screen.
- Tap the folder icon to set the destination folder for your files.
- Tap Upload.

Hi there!
I'm experiencing some weird things with my android dropbox app. I can't save multiple images to phone gallery, while before (updating to latest nougat s7) it was all fine.
Is it something to do with an app? Or just my phone?
Thank you in advance!

It has been two years since Exporting multiple photos to camera roll at once has been requested.
Nothing done yet!
:(
- jt57 years agoHelpful | Level 5The craziest part is that this feature to upload multiple photos from the camera scroll was ALWAYS available - until the app updates we were forced to used!! Which is extremely inconvenient for the users and is probably a bad move - since uploading from Camera Roll 1-1000 photos in an instant is much faster and easier to use than any other app option, PLUS the user will automatically use more space with this feature!! Why remove something everyone repeatedly for years has used for the app, that also reduces the amount of storage of the photos, useless other applications of competition like MS or iPhone apps forced this horrible idea... all I’m pointing out is that if we the users are constantly asking FOR THE FEATURE TO BE BROUGHT - BACK - INTO usage - AND your clearly losing money based on LESS usage being filled - shouldn’t this be a priority to have...

Second, you can still upload multiple files to Dropbox from your Camera Roll (and I'm assuming you're on iOS) by saving them to the Files app. As long as you've added Dropbox as a Location within Files, you'll be able to select it when saving files to the Files app. It's as easy as selecting your photos, chosing Save to Files, and selecting Dropbox as the location.

Thanks for the update, but its the same issue whether importing or exporting... On the ios (for example) this feature no longer exist and there is no true way to add a "File" app location to the phone. I have both brand new ios and andriod, and the only option now available is creating a folder > adding files to folder > and exporting them one-by-one, which is annoying and time consuming. This was not the case in the previous versions, now when users like us want to add "mutiple photos we only have the options that can be seen in the photos attached... The first photo shows ONLY one picture being selcted to be added to Dropbox using my ios. The moment I select another photo - all of Dropbox options disappear and we are left with other applications, most people cringe at using... This WAS NOT the an issue, nor a missing feature, no a problem before the app updates - when do you think the company will decided to bring this back???... making users life easier while increasing their own revenue...
