Can I upload whole albums and preserve the names?
Hi! I recently switched to iPhone and was unable to transfer photos from my Android to my new phone, hence why I’m here. I need a good place to store all my photos so that they are easily accessible on all devices. I have my photos VERY organized on my Android and was wondering if I could transfer them to Dropbox and KEEP THEM IN THE ALBUMS they are currently in… It seems they are simply coming over one by one out of the albums. This is extremely frustrating. Especially because I’m dealing with iPhones idiotic idea of phone storage (you move a photo to an album and it STAYS in the camera roll!! It just becomes a copy-I don’t want it in 2 places. I need it organized and in ONE. Anyway…) Any way to do this?
Screenshots that are .png on my phone are not in camera uploads?
Hello, I saved a screenshot that is a png but it isn't showing up in my Dropbox? It's a document that needs to be saved on that date, but it isn't there on Dropbox, even though it is in my phone Gallery on that date. Can you help? Thank you

Ich habe an meinem Sony Experia 1 VI Dropbox so eingestellt, dass Fotos automatisch in die Dropbox hochgeladen werden. Das funktioniert mit JPGs sehr gut. RAW-Files werden dagegen aber ignoriert und ich kann an der APP keine Einstellung finden, die eventuelle Settings dazu notwendig machen. So ist die Dropbox für mich nicht vernünftig nutzbar. An welchen Stellen kann geschraubt werden, damit der Upload vernünftig läuft? Die Upload-Ordner-Einstellungen in der App enthalten keine erweiterten Einstellungen, um da eventuell etwas zu ändern.Photos vs Camera Uploads
hi, I have moved a lot of pictures out of Camera Uploads into other folders. Camera Uploads only shows a few photos (that's fine) but many more show under Photos tab. When in Photos- how can I tell what folder a specific photo is in? And, how does Photos work? is it like a permanent list of every photo that used to be in Camera Uploads? Please help me understand. Thanks!I keep seeing camera uploads notifications every time I launch my Windows 10 computer.
How do I stop getting DropBox messages about "Camera uploads"? I do not want camera uploads but every time my desktop (Win 10) wakes up, it has those messages all over my screen. I can provide a screengrab if necessary.
Cannot scroll down in camera uploads (Windows browser)
Anyone else having this issue? When I go to the "camera uploads" folder on the desktop browser interface, if I scroll down one or more screens, then it immediately jumps back to the top of the page. Therefore I cannot scroll down, and cannot access any photos that do not appear on the first page. I'm using chrome Version 132.0.6834.160 (Official Build) (64-bit). I tried clearing my cookies and that did not solve it. I also tried in chrome incognito mode (no cookies) and that did not solve it. Also tried in Firefox version 134.0.2 (64-bit). I am running Windows 11 build 26100.2894
Force iOS Dropbox app to upload camera pictures in the background
You should find a way to force the iOS Dropbox app to upload camera pictures in the background regardless of whether or not the app is actually active. As it stands now, this function is hardly of any use whatsoever because in order for it to work, not only does the app have to be running (like in the background), but it also must be active! If I ever have to access the app, it’s generally only for less than a minute. But if I have photos on the phone that haven’t been uploaded to Dropbox, I have to sit there and wait with the app active until they all upload. If I further in the middle of the upload and switch to another app as the active one, then the remaining photos just won’t upload.Remove photos from local Android device after adding them to Dropbox via camera uploads.
I wanted to use my dropbox account to be able to backup my files and remove them after a period of time from my phone, so files say older than a couple of months are only available online. And just keep the most recent ones in my android phone. It would be nice also to do this for different folders.
