Upgrade to Family Plan
Hello
If I upgrade from my individual plan to the Family plan,
will the files and folders in my original account automatically be added to the new plan?
Also, will anyone I invite be able to keep their original contents in the new plan as well?
Thank you.
Upgrades to plans are just an increase in quota and additional features - nothing at all changes in terms of your files/folders.
The people you invite will keep their own account, it will just be part of your plan with a bigger quota

Currently I have dropbox professional. I've retired and could downgrade to dropbox plus, but I would rather change to the family plan. It looks as if I cannot move from professional to family without downgrading first to plus. However, even if I do that, I cannot change until my billing date in November. Is it really impossible to change straightaway? This is very frustrating. I realise that family is cheaper than professional but I don't mind losing the difference. Please can anyone help me achieve a switch immediately?
