Last week when my previous DropBox plan expired, I worked with a chatbot to explore my options for renewal. The lowest plan Dropbox would offer me was their "Plus" package (2TB at $9.99 a month). I explained that I simply didn't need this much space and asked about smaller and cheaper options. I was given no other options, so I let my Dropbox plan expire. So imagine my surprise when I get an email from Dropbox this morning offering me an option of 100GB for just $1.99 a month. Great! Yes, this is more what I was looking for. HOWEVER, now I have lost my trust in Dropbox because I was specifically asking about cheaper options, and was told there was nothing available to me cheaper than $9.99 a month. I tried to contact customer service, but could find no one to talk to at Dropbox who can now address my concerns about being able to trust this company. After being lied to about the availability of cheaper plans, I am VERY reluctant to buy any packages from Dropbox ever again. I am reaching out here for feedback from Dropbox. Can I trust you or not? How can you help rebuild my trust in your company and your questionable business practices? Your entire business model relies on your customers trusting their digital content with your company. Hi For years I've had a Dropbox business account and last renewed in February for three members. But today I was locked out of it and my plan reverted to basic, meaning nowhere near enough data for me and my team. The reason may have been an expired credit card, even though my subscription should run through February 2025. Does anyone know how I can get back into my business account? Hello All! I have had a Dropbox account for over ten years. I knew it to be only ONE account that I have been paying $11.99 per month. I know there are many pictures and videos there. But, I have not logged on until recently because I have not had the need. When I JUST logged on (on a MacBook Air) for the first time in over a year yesterday, ALL of the pictures and videos are not there. There ARE a VERY few files of documents that I do recognize as being mine. I decided to logon using my iPhone, and see the same results. BUT, I did notice that the account type is listed as "Dropbox Basic Free." I am now thinking and hoping that there is somehow TWO accounts; the one with very few files, and the one that has all of my pictures and videos that I have been paying $11.99 a month for MANY years. HOW do I get in contact with someone at Dropbox to help me with this? The phone number of [email removed as per Community Guidelines] yields a bysysignal and is the only one I can find at Dropbox or Google for contacting them. Hi Dropbox Support Team, I am currently facing an issue with my Dropbox account. I initially purchased the Dropbox Plus 2TB subscription, which I paid for in full. Later, I tried a free trial of the Dropbox Teams/Business Account, but that trial has now expired. Since then, I keep getting prompts to provide billing information to maintain access to my files. All I want to do is cancel the Teams/Business subscription and revert back to my original Dropbox Plus plan, which I've already paid for. However, when I attempt to cancel the Teams plan, it warns me that all my files will be deleted. This is extremely concerning. Hi, I am about to lose my mind with Dropbox. I signed up for the business free trial, and then was out of storage so wanted to upgrade to the actual plan, went through and added payment then it still does not let me upgrade my account. It shows that i have the storage but i'm not able to use any of the features, and when i send out links they all show temporarily disabled?
