661 TopicsI can't access my photos, as I'm being asked to upgrade my Dropbox account.
I REALLY need help, please. A very long time ago my wife and I wanted to put our photos, many of them precious, in a safe place. She suggested putting them om a USB but I said we should put them on something called "Dropbox" It was free and safe. What a fool I was. Over time it said my account was "getting " full so I deleted as many things as I could and things were fine. Then without using my account much at all I went to it and it says it's full and I have to pay a large sum of money, which I don't have, in order to get into my account. It seems like kidnapping. If I were to pay the money I don't even know if I could get my photos back without deleting them all. The only thing I can think of is, paying the ransom, downloading the photos to my hard drive, moving them to a USB (my PC is old and I can't fit in a USB and a wireless USB in at the same time) and terminating my account. Even then I'm afraid I will lose everything because it says that by terminating your account all of your data will be deleted. I really don"t know what to do. Hi, I am about to lose my mind with Dropbox. I signed up for the business free trial, and then was out of storage so wanted to upgrade to the actual plan, went through and added payment then it still does not let me upgrade my account. It shows that i have the storage but i'm not able to use any of the features, and when i send out links they all show temporarily disabled? Hello! My Dropbox today was connected to the work computer. So my boss payed for the Dropbox Plus plan, as he thought that was for his Dropbox. We have called the bank and they had cancelled the payment, because I really don't need this Plus plan. Hello, I'm a graphic designer with over 15 years of workload. This obviously equates to extreme files sizes. I was disappointed to learn Dropbox don't offer a package for single users over 3TB. I work solely and require more cloud space and don't want to have to upgrade to a 'per user' plan as this isn't cost effective. I paid for a Dropbox plan in January, but I started receiving messages that I'm nearly out of space, and when I log in to the website, I am seeing that my plan has been downgraded to "Basic." I use dropbox fairly regularly and recently have been getting close to my maximum storage space on my account, so I decided to upgrade. After the payment failing to go through even after confirming the purchase through my banking app, I tried again and the payment was taken out of my account. However, my account has not been upgraded. I am hoping that the payment did not go through properly and I will be refunded in the next day or so (As I have been reading from other discussions/threads on here). Because I subscribe to dropbox via my apple account, I have to upgrade to professional there. I did that and paid a month ago, but my account in dropbox still shows I am only on plus plan. I have no way I can see to contact dropbox about this.
