Offered Dropbox Basic Extra Plan $1.99 month but can't find plan
I was recently offered a $1.99/month plan for 100GB while I was logged into Dropbox. Unfortuantely, I was on a plane so wasn't able to sign up in time. When I logged in later the offer didn't appear. I tried chatting to a sales agent online and they said I should have received an email which I don't remember seeing and may have gone to my spam folder. They weren't able to help and said I needed to log a ticket to get a specialist to look into this.
Unfortunately, as I am on a free account I don't have the option to log a ticket so what do I do?
Hi @JKell11,
Kindly check this link. If you are still eligible for this plan, you will find your offer there :

I am very happy about that! Dropbox finally offers smaller plans.
I just got offered a "Dropbox Basic Extra"-Plan for 1,99€/month for 50GB.
..., but it looks like it was 100GB half a year ago 😞
In my opinion 100GB would suit the price better than 50GB, as it is more competitive with "the great G."
(Who offer 100GB 1,99€/month and 200GB 2,99€/month as a small Service AND with discounts on yearly payments.)- KooTrekExplorer | Level 4
I also just got the Basic Extra plan for $2.49 CAD for 50GB. Totally agree: offer the 100GB for that and I'd go for it. Happy with my 100GB with Brand G, anyway.

I don't care if it is 50, 100 or 200 GB but such a plan would suit my needs! can anyone tell me how to subscribe? I cannot find it, but I also had once a popup (unfortunately didn't screenshot it).

Hey syncer, sorry to jump in here, but I just wanted to mention that if this is a valid promotion coming from us indeed, as a first step, could you please double check your email box and spam folders?
All of our promotional and tip emails originate from http://docsend.com, http://dropboxmail.com, http://em-s.dropbox.com, http://em.dropbox.com , or http://dropboxteam.com. You can type them on your search bar' and let us know if you can locate it.

I've checked my email and found one offering signup to the plan - the email is from May. The link takes me to https://www.dropbox.com/buy/basic-extra
However the message I get is:
You aren't eligible for this plan. Try another plan or contact support.
What do I do now?

I came here to look for a plan like this. Where can I find an offer for that, please? I don't need 2000 gigs of space, nor to be paying the same as for Netflix just to have lots of space I won't use...

I too am getting offered the Basic Extra plan while logged into the website. I tried to locate details of the plan but cant find any specifics. Has anyone seen details - devices, storage, users, platforms etc. I've been DBX for many years now. I tried to get details via Chat and when the "attendant" was about to provide details the chat session got disconnected, they had not heard of the plan.

Hi,
I have read this thread about not finding the offered Basic Extra Plan anymore and have the same problem.
Can anyone help me to get to this offer somehow again? I don't care if it is 50, 100 or 200 GB but a plan for ~24 Euro or dollar would suit my needs, especially when I am travelling and camera upload is active.
thanks
J.K.
