Re: Trouble opening a PP in Dropbox.

Trouble opening a PP in Dropbox.

Hi. I use Dropbox for work and have a corporate account through Microsoft. When I attempt to open a PP to edit it I only have the option to preview. The option to "open with PP online' is no longer there. I have disconnected the Microsoft app and reinstalled it but it has not worked. An ideas?

Hi @Jkokoski, let's jump right into this!

Are you having this issue on all your PowerPoint files or just a specific one? When did this start happening?

Can you please let me know if you get any different results after clearing your browser's cache and on other browsers?

Keep me posted!

Unfortunately yes I cleared all cache and cookies and tried a different server. I am on a Mac as well. It was working earlier this week but now it is not. I also tried it on two different computers.

Hi @Jkokoski, are you on a Dropbox Business team? Do they have the necessary Microsoft license to have files edited online?

Yes I do. I have dropbox for business and have all license through them as well. It was working before and now only Power Point is the problem.

Hey @Jkokoski, just to confirm, you said that only PowerPoint is the issue; do other Office files work as normal?

Hope you don't mind me jump in, @Jkokoski

Can you please check this with the rest of your team, and let me know if they're having similar issues? Are they also unable to open their PowerPoint files via www.dropbox.com, even though Excel and Word are working normally?

Yes I have checked. Other people on both Macs and Dell are able to get in just fine. It is only me. I need to be able to access the PPs with macros. I was able to access them 2 weeks ago and I do not know why I cannot anymore.
