Can you create a destination file with automated tasks at the same time?
Hi. I am trying to set up a new folder where it is automated and when it asks for destination folder it dosnt allow me to create one? I have to go back and crate the folder and then set up the automated tasks? Also - it doesn't let you filter as to which folder it goes into except month or year?

Hi klnagel14, welcome to our Community!
Our list of all the automations can be found here.
Now as for your question, you should be able to create a new automated folder by logging into your account online, then clicking Create folder under the search bar at the top or click + Create and select Folder. And then select Automated folder.
You will choose the automation of your choice, and then create a new folder if you want.
As for the "month or year" that is what you see when you choose the "Choose a category to sort files by" automation. What is your end goal here, and what do you wish to achieve?
Asking, to see if there's an automation that would suit you better maybe.
Thank you!

Megan, Thank you.
1. I wish that I could automate to more than just 2 options. Week, day,
2. Also, the destination file has to be created prior to the automation if I choose a key word, etc. So I have to go back and set up the desitnation folder and then go back to automate and file. It does not allow me to do it in one step, right?

Hi there klnagel14 - sorry to jump in here and thanks for the feedback on this.
Could you walk us through the exact steps you take to do this and send us a screenshot if possible to make sure we're on the same page?
I'm just asking because I just tried creating a new automated folder without the need to specify a destination folder; I was able to create a new one upon setting up the automation.
