LAN Sync on a machine with many VLANs and Network Interfaces

I've read the "Inside LAN Sync" blog article, and it's very in depth on the guts of LAN Sync, but I'm wondering about peer discovery on a complicated network. LAN Sync polls the network with UDP port 17500 for peers to sync with, but does it poll every interface, or just the primary. I run a mostly Macintosh network that has several VLANs and hardware interfaces on every machine to keep traffic separate. Does LAN Sync poll every machine on every interface or just the primary?

Also, as LAN Sync only syncs matched hashed blocks, does that mean it doesn't care who's logged in on each account? If we have a business account, are all of the systems logged into individual user accounts syncing? Or is it only between single accounts? Like, if I run a cache server with a local copy of our dropbox on the LAN, does every user, no matter what they're logged in as, get to take advantage of the LAN cache?

Ok, so, that page confirmed that syncs are done by hashed block, so it doesn't matter who is logged into what account, as long as they are the same shared folders... but it doesn't answer the question about how DropBox polls the LAN.

Does DropBox poll every interface, real or virtual, for peers?

Or, does it only poll the primary and/or internet connected interface?
