Hey Rahkitty, thanks for reaching out to the Dropbox Community.
As mentioned in the email you received, Dropbox Essentials replaced the Dropbox Professional + eSign and Dropbox One plans on October 10, 2023.
This is not something that can be reversed or cancelled, but this upgrade will be at no extra cost to you.
You’ll keep all the features you had on the Professional plan, as well as some additional functionality, including end-to-end eSignature features and document tracking and analytics.
Learn more about Dropbox Essentials in our help center article or see a feature breakdown on our plans page.
I hope this helps, but let me know if you have any questions.

Got email "Congratulations on upgrading your account to Dropbox Essentials! This Email serves as your receipt." I did not upgrade. This email came in 3 days ago... Back on 3/18/2023 I upgraded to Dropbox Professional to 3/18/24.
What is this?

Hi Gregory Esparza, thanks for messaging the Community!
This email is related to the migration to the new plan. Dropbox Essentials replaced the Dropbox Professional + eSign and Dropbox One plans on October 10, 2023.
You were automatically transitioned to Dropbox Essentials, where, on top of the previous features you already had, you’ll also get:
- End-to-end eSignature features
- Send and track features
You won’t have to do anything, your current files and plan price won’t be affected by this change.
If you have any further queries, feel free to message back.
