Refreshing screen on Excel and Word - Windows 7
I recently started having a problem with Excel where frequent screen refresh (about every 4 seconds) was interfering with work. The same thing was happening in Word.

Hi all,
Many apologies as always for any delay in responding. We have some great engineers working on the Dropbox badge and one of them put together a fix that is included in this version:
Apologies for any inconvenience caused here. We're always keeping our eye out here, so as soon as we saw your reports, and the threads start to flair, we started investigating. The result of the investigation is a fix that is included in the above version.

Hey tovarishrob, welcome to our forum!
I've moved your post here, so you (and we) can keep an eye on this issue's progress.
Yeah, this is a small bug that our team is aware of, and currently working on. In the meantime, you don’t have to exit our app entirely, you can just disable the Dropbox Badge.

This beta version did not work for me out of the box. I had to disable the badge ("never show") in order to correct the problem.

After some digging in the web, I found that it was DB that was interfering with the microsoft menus. A bit late, because I upgraded my 2010 license to 2016 hoping that would do the trick, and it partially did but not fully. I disabled the badge and upgraded DB but the trouble persists: When I select a graph the pop-up menu is ok, but if I select a series or any other element in the graph, the pop-up menu starts flickering. It is very annoying... Any other fix I can try?

They have been beating on this problem since August. Time to Drop the box.
