Is “Dropbox updater” a virus?
Adppernetly my boss thinks Dropbox sending a pop up through Microsoft Windows to update Dropbox is actually a virus.
Don’t know if that’s actually true and Dropbox does not tell us otherwise.

Hi Sho_minamimoto, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
The Dropbox Updater is an official part of the Dropbox desktop application, which allows it to automatically download and update the app in the background.
Could you clarify what pop up you're getting on your Windows machine?
This will help me to assist further!
