'Check “Firefox Windows” for a notification'

Dropbox password stopped working.  Reinstalled it and now I am getting the 'Check “Firefox Windows” for a notification' and yet there are no notifications.  Not a happy camper.

Hey icetubMP, sorry to hear about this.

Have you tried clearing your browser's cache or another browser since you first noticed this?

If you did and still get the same message, please send us a screenshot so that we can have a visual too.

    Thanks!

I did clear my cache etc and it did not resolve the issue.  When I go to Extensions to run the extension I get the message saying to 'Check "Firefox Windows" for a notification.  I did see somewhere in the Community to also check the Settings > Notifications and make sure that Firefox was enabled but Firefox wasn't an option.

HI icetubMP, this is looking for a notification in another Firefox browser on a Windows device, as part of the Dropbox Passwords security. It won't send a notification on the same browser for security reasons.

Did you save your recovery words from when you initially installed the Passwords extension?
