referrals ineligible

My daughter is using my old Macbook. And although she is the only user and registered on my referral invite we both see "ineligible".

How can we change this?

Thanks a lot for your support!

Best,

Peter

In order for a referral to be eligible, Dropbox needs to be installed on a unique computer (one that never had Dropbox before). If this was your old computer and you had Dropbox on it before, it wouldn't be eligible for a referral with another user.

      Hi Rich,

thanks for your answer! I can understand Dropbox rationale technically. Still this differs from terms and conditions for referrals. What is it a company should stick to?

Especially for a company in which TRUST (we trust you with our data) is so important, a behavior reflecting communicated written conditions should be the most natural thing to do.

      Best,

      Peter
