As long as you are not over quota you are fine - just keep an eye on it 🙂

Hey there Merry2 - thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to our Community!

Can you clarify where exactly you're getting this message? Is it In the app or on the website somewhere or in an email notification?

Also, can you take a look at your plan tab and let me know what it reports in regards to your quota?

    Thanks!

Hi Merry2, sorry to jump in here!

That email must have been an indication that you're slowly reaching your allocated quota.

You can see more about the content that's taking up space in your Dropbox account here

In order to make up space for your account, you'd need to remove unwanted content. I hope this helps!

As soon as you hit your limit it will stop syncing. So files above your storage space wont be uploaded to Dropbox and would stay on the devices themselves waiting for you to get more quota

So, just to confirm my files won’t be deleted ?
