How can I use Dropbox to host a custom RUST map file?
I would like to know how to host the .map file here for my RUST Game server?
I have followed the intructions to the letter and can't get the file to load.
some say dropbox doesn't work, some say ...

I'm not really familiar with this kind of setup; care to explain how this should work and how Dropbox comes into play in this scenario?
On a side note, the shared link you mentioned in your post is not an active one as I can see; could you recreate it and try again? Do you get the same results?

I also have this very same issue. The package comes in a RAR format and when I try to unpack and get the link for the .MAP file I get a message saying dropbox can not use the format. If anyone knows how to do this I would love to know how. Like walter said I have followed every step provided exactly but we can not open .MAP

unpack the file locally then uploaad the file into a folder then share the file and the link will be generated.

its not a unpackable file, its a .map
Im stuck at this point, cause i really dont know how..
