Dropbox is uploading duplicate camera upload images, why?
When I open my dropbox folder on my computer in order to download photos from my mobile phone, all pictures are downloaded twice.
Looking at my dropbox on-line and on the app on my phone I can see ...

Thanks for the info, Ria.
In your initial screenshots, I do see a discrepancy between the images, which is that two of the duplicates seem to have been "captured by AutoStamper", which is indeed a 3rd party app.
Can you check if this app edits your photos, perhaps in the background, without you doing it manually?

Hi RiaT, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Are the duplicate images different in some way visually, such as with a filter or aspect ratio (4:3 and 16:9)?
What mobile device, OS and Dropbox mobile app version are you currently running?
This will help me to assist further!

Hello Jay
Thanks for the reply.
No, the photos have not been edited at all. They are identical. Nothing has been done to the aspect ratio, by me anyway.
Computer: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 V209.4.3661
Mobile: Android 14 App version 398.2.2
Hope this helps.

Thanks for the update, RiaT.
Would you mind sending us a screenshot (or two) of the metadata of an example photo that's having this issue?

How do I attach the metadata files?
When I click on the little camera icon (Insert/edit image) it does not open for me to search and attach the screenshots on my computer.
It asks for:
Source
Image description
Dimensions
Constrain proportions
I tried to put the path to the screenshots into the Source, but It didn’t work.
Thanks
