still in Quick Access after disconnecting device?

I just disconnected an old PC in order to add a different new laptop due to the device number limit.  I had DB in the Quick Access area (Windows 10. ) It's still there on the old PC even after disconnecting. Surprised at that.  But I can see that it is not syncing if I add/delete a file.  So those prior files will just stay there and be accessible from now on?  I know I can't sync anymore, but still have access to the files from up to the point I disconnected. I'm just surprised at that.

Uninstalling the Dropbox application doesn't remove files from the device. It just removes the sync application. The Dropbox folder with your files will remain on your computer until you remove it manually.
