Cant edit shared Excel
For about 1 week ago I can no longer edit shared Excel files.
I dont have the option in the top to edit via Excel online, that whole button has just dissapeared.
Does somebody know why th...

From your second screenshot, the default app to open the files is the Dropbox site. Could you change it to make this Excel on the web?

Can you let us know more about this? Which platform do you use, in order to open your Microsoft files, and do you get any specific errors when trying to edit them?

I use Android.
In the dropbox application / files / *.*xls file
Then I visualize the file and when I press the edit key (a square with a diagonal line) to write, the dropbox goes back and the files in the archive appear again.
Before, when I pressed the edit key, I was able to work on the file.- Megan2 years agoDropbox Staff
Hi Luisa6, what is the Dropbox mobile version that you're using on your end?
Other than that, did you happen to clear the Dropbox app’s cache, and reinstalling perhaps? Also let me know what results you get if you try to open the file directly using the relative Microsoft Excel app instead.
