Cannot save edits to text files on Android

Need some help. When I open a text file on my Android phone and edit it using the Dropbox text editor, I can't save the changes. I just get a message that says, "Unable to save file." Also, the open file's name in the top bar shows something different than the actual file name. Now, I was able to create and save a brand new text file. But, after saving it, I could not save new edits to it. I've already updated the Dropbox app and my phone is up to date as well. Tried clearing the cache andogging out, then logging back in. Not sure what else to do...

  • All right folks, I finally figured this out. I uninstalled the Dropbox app and reinstalled it. After logging into it fresh and opened a text file, my phone asked me which app to use. At that point, I realized that the app that was opening my text files before was called "Text Viewer" rather than the "Dropbox Text Editor." I have no idea how that default got changed for one. For two, it's not an installed app... I can't find it on my phone anywhere... Is that some kind of Android default thing???
