So I just received an email from no-reply@dropboxmail.com saying that someone had tried to log into my account from an "unrecognised location". I found it weird because I don't even use that email account with Dropbox, but the email address seems legit. I'm attaching a screenshot of the email. Anyway, there is a link "Click here to verify...". I didn't click, I copied the link instead, without visiting it. And here's what came up: https://www (dot) dijitalkurumsal (dot) com/js/EMAILVARIFICATION.php?email= + my email address So be careful, because I think "dijitalkurumsal" has nothing to do with Dropbox. :-/Solved78KViews0likes4CommentsWhat is happening to the Dropbox Send & Track feature?
That it no longer functions and I should another service, open a separate account (both DropBox AND Send and track subscription) or what should I do? That I cannot find my old reports? Because no matter where I look, I cannot find anything on videos that I previously had connected to Send and Track. I am puzzled.65Views0likes6CommentsI can't access my account as a code is being sent to an old email
Please need assistance with changing my email address linked to my business account as when I login the code is being sent to an old email address that we no longer have access to? Please can someone email me from support on how I go about changing this. Think we might need to disable multi factor authentication on the account, allow me to login and then change email and then add back again. Also can the pin not be sent to my cellphone as a further backup? Please can someone asssit or support reach out to me on email. Thanks.18Views0likes1CommentRemote Management Access by Dropbox Inc. on my Mac laptop
I have a problem with Dropbox that is not related to my own Dropbox account. I have a dropbox employee okla login on my laptop and cannot do anything before logging into upon start up and setting up the computer -even external drives. I need a contact at Dropbox to resolve this. Context: I bought the laptop used on Craigslist. Apparently, it used to belong to Dropbox Inc. and brings up a remote management login window when trying to re/install the system, which only became evident when trying to upgrade OS now. I was only able to restore the laptop from a clone, but now the laptop brings up the notification "Dropbox can manage your computer". Request: I would like to get Dropbox to either claim their computer or deactivate their security network. I would be grateful for who do contact (email/phone) for this. Alternatively, is there something I can do? Trying to understand my options. Thank You for your expertise and commiseration.Solved4.8KViews1like28CommentsRemove External User(s) Delete Ability
PLEASE allow us to restrict the ability of external users to delete files and folders in a shared folder. I just ran into an issue where a user, that had edit permission, deleted all of the files and folders in a shared folder. Allow us to restrict the ability to delete by users. Or change the view permission to upload files and folders. This seems so easy to do, yet it doesn't happen. If I'm missing a setting, please enlighten me. Thank you.30Views0likes3CommentsMy account got hacked and they setup 2FA to block me
Hello, My dropbox account was compromised and they fully locked me out with 2fa. I did not set up the 2fa so I can't kick them out. I just want to close the account. I don't need access. What should I do? I sent off an email to support.48Views0likes3CommentsCaptcha when connecting app to dropbox on phone
I tried to connect Onlyoffice app to my Dropbox account on my phone (android) and should then prove that I am "human" by sorting a puzzle of placing a figure in a seat by combining a number wíth some icon. Even though I managed to sort the puzzle (several times) the Captcha just started over again. It was a terrible waste of time, when I just wanted to be able to write in my drop box files using onlyoffice and I feel really stupid that I am actually PAYING for this. Even though I until now have been a happy drop box customer. There must be other ways. Also it is difficult to see the icons, and being both a bit seeing and hearing impaired I feel that You are letting me down. Yours truly, KG30Views0likes3CommentsI didn't unlink my old devices and now I've reached the 3-device limit. How can I remove them?
I owned two computers. I had installed Dropbox basic on both. Then I recently purchased two new, replacement computers and trashed those old ones (before unlinking the Dropbox account from either one). I realize now (and I should have realized then) what a stupid thing that was. I downloaded the Dropbox app and installation went fine on one of the new, replacement computers. When I attempted to install Dropbox on the second new computer, I received a message that said I already had reached the maximum 3 computers linked to my Dropbox account. Since the old computers no longer exist, is there now any way to Unlink those devices from my Dropbox account?Solved64Views0likes3Comments
