Hello, I write here about my problem with the hope somebody can help me. I always used Dropbox Basic with 2GB storage. With the same Dropbox profile I upgraded to Dropbox Business for me and my team in the office 4 years ago (6 persons in total). This month I stopped Dropbox Business since we started to use a physical storage in the office – before downgrading I deleted all the files from my Dropbox Business. Now I thought I could keep using my Dropbox Basic with 2GB storage but all the files I deleted are still in the bin and I can’t permanently deleted them. Somehow it’s written that I am still using 53GB of space but I can’t get rid of these files because I have no authorization anymore. I guess these files will remain in the bin for few months and probably they block my Dropbox Basic storage. Should I open a new Dropbox Basic account with another mail? Or is there a possibility to solve my issue? With Dropbox Basic I can’t even get in contact with the support and somehow I’m stucked... I am needing to provide a place for a couple of videographers to upload files to my Dropbox so I can include them in my edits. When I created a shared file and sent it to them, they respond that they are asked to create a Dropbox account of their own to access my link. I just need them to upload their video files to my account - they don't need to have their own Dropbox accounts. I get a message to join a folder of an association. When I click on that I get the message that I don't have enough space while I only use 1.94 GB of my 6.75 GB. I keep getting the message to upgrade to more space....... My available space is 6,75 GB but that doesn't matter because it's the map of someone else! I receive emails from Dropbox telling me my Basic account has reached its limit; however, when I log into my account there are no files there. I have searched in all folders, there is nothing there. I have also tried to locate these files using my laptop account and there is nothing there. I cannot respond to their emails because it's from an unmonitored mailbox. I cannot call Dropbox because I have the free edition, and their free customers aren't treated with the same care as their paying customers. How can I resolve this if I cannot speak to a live person about it? I'm tempted to reach out to our state's attorney general to file a complaint. After many years using the same computer, we purchased a new one. There are many things different from the "old days". I feel like a total newbie! I somehow ended up with my documents folder in Dropbox. And I don't use Dropbox. Could someone please tell me how I can get my files out of dropbox and my documents folder back in File Explore where I've always had it? Hi, I have a free dropbox account and have used it for years to store a few basic excel spreadsheets that I use daily. I have a paid Microsoft 365 account that I use on my android phone and lenovo laptop. For some reason the last few days, I am unable to open my dropbox excel spreadsheets on my phone. When I try to open the spreadsheet I get a log in page saying "Log in or sign up to Dropbox to link with Microsoft Office Integration". I log in using my dropbox user and pw and it just sends me to my onedrive. I have tried deleting the dropbox and 365 apps on my phone and re installing and logging in. I have tried to open the dropbox files by going into excel first and then trying to open the dropbox spreadsheet. Just always sends me to the log in page. It all works fine on my laptop, and after saving, my dropbox android app shows the newly updated spreadsheet. Dont know what has happened. Da un aggiornamento di dropbox (attualmente ho installata la versione 212.4.5767), le icone di sincronizzazione (prima incorporate dentro a quelle dei file, in basso) sono finite a lato ben distanti... Così come mostrato qui a seguire. Ho provato a controllare ma non sto utilizzando né Onedrive né altri cloud con la sincronizzazione. Ho provato a reinstallare il client WIN di Dropbox. Niente da fare... Rimane tutto così. Sul PC di mia moglie e mio figlio le icone sono quelle classiche (con la spunta verde o altro, ma incorporate DENTRO alle icone dei file o cartelle e NON a lato).
