photo slideshow loading screen is very startling and slower than it should be

I desired to show a slideshow of recent photos to my family. The slideshow (fullscreen) feature on the web could use some enhancement. Chiefly, the loading time between photos is quite slow. Plus, the loading screen is stark white, meaning that the dark black fullscreen is heavily contrasted with it. My suggestion is this: leave the previous photo visible while the next one is loading--this should solve the problem of the black-to-white "flashing" and the in-your-face loading of between images.

Hi steveprutz! Thanks for posting here.

Do you see the same thing if you try this via different browsers, or even incognito mode?

If possible, can you also connect to a different network, and let me know if it changes anything?

I’d also appreciate a screenshot of the loading screen that you mention with the dark background, so that I can have a visual.

    Ping me, when you’re ready.

Hey steveprutz! Sorry for the nudge here.

I just wanted to check if you saw my previous post above.
