File in Dropbox on my HP, but not in Dropbox on my iPhone 12
I have a cookbook in Dropbox so I can share it with my grandchildren. I created a new recipe today Potato Soup in Word and saved it to Dropbox. It shows up on my HP laptop where I created and saved it, but I went to Dropbox on my iPhone so I could create a link and text it to them, but it doesn't show up on my iPhone. The rest of the cookbook is on my iPhone.

Hi Lotusbeam, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Does the file appear on the Dropbox site, to confirm that it has synced normally to your account?
This will help me to assist further!

The file does not appear on Dropbox.com on my phone. I can’t check my computer right now but I don’t think it was there either. But it is when I go through Windows explorer

Hey Lotusbeam if you hover over the Dropbox icon in your system tray, what's the Dropbox app's sync status?
Do you see any syncing icons next to your file in the Dropbox folder in your file explorer?

The Dropbox folder in File Explorer does not show syncing. It's not in my system tray. I just noticed that my computer wants to do some updates and shows a syncing kind of icon (but it's not specific to Dropbox), so I will do those now and hope for the best!
