I received an invite to join an account, with the client have access to files I can access?

I received an invite to a clients Dropbox account, and while I accepted the invite, it asks me if I have any files that I don't want them to access. While I don't have files in my Dropbox account, I do have several clients that I have access to via the same account. I've never needed to answer that question in the past so I'm not sure how to answer it. Will the new client invite and/or their admin have access to the other client Dropbox accounts I have access to?

If you choose to merge your account with the team, then the team admin could technically view the files on your account, and any shared folders you have with other clients. They also have the ability to delete your account entirely, without any input from yourself.

Hi @Arivera87, thanks for messaging the Community.

It sounds like this is an invitation to join their Dropbox Business team. This means that your current Dropbox account will be part of the team, and the team admin will technically own your account and all files within.

Could you clarify what you mean by having other clients access the same account? Are you sharing your account credentials with them?

This will help me to assist further!

Thank you & sure! I have other clients that have sent me invites to access their documents via the same email (my work email). I just want to make sure that, if I accept the newest invite, they won't have access to the other client docs that I have access to, or that it won't disable the access I have to the other clients. Does that help?
