How can I protect my files in Dropbox in case of a hack?
Since the fall of 2022, my Google and Outlook emails have been hacked by these unscrupulous thieves - these foreign Bitcoin miners. I have CALLED Google One to complain, and MS - they gave me perfunctory advice and so many of my files in Google Drive and OneDrive have been deleted and tampered with by these disgusting people. And it continues, even here. I don't hold Dropbox responsible, but there is no question that my account was hacked. I am so livid, I can barely breathe. I have taken EVERY measure of my initiative to ward off these creeps, but I have been inundated for these two years.
So I am canvassing opinions for suggestions, thoughts, and anything more I can do to protect my files here. And if a member of the Dropbox brass sees this, is there ANY WAY to discern how this happened, and which files were affected? A tall order, I know, but my faith in humanity would be bolstered if someone in Cyberworld gave a **bleep** about the havoc these horrible people have wrought. Google and MS be damned - color me disgusted and at the end of my tether.

Hi there Astrojon917 - sorry to hear about this.
In this case, I'd recommend starting from this Help Center article while you can also check your account's security page for unknown devices or web sessions.
As for your files activity, you can take a look at the events page for more information.
I hope this helps a tad and please let us know if you have any follow up questions.
