1914 TopicsI'm not receiving the one-time security code on my email
I have login on my account but its asking me a one time code now - I input my username and password and it says one time code is sent to my email. But I am not getting any code, I've tried and waited many times and also added the no reply email on my contacts and it still did not fixed the issue PLEASE HELP!37Views0likes9CommentsI'm not receiving the password reset email to login to my account.
I have a paid Essentials Dropbox account through July 2025 under an AOL email. Even though I added "no-reply" to my contacts, I have not been able to receive a password reset link in my AOL account. There does not seem to be any way to contact Dropbox by email or phone, and I can't access my files. I don't remember the last time I accessed Dropbox or shared a file, so I can't reset my password that way. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.45Views0likes4CommentsI can't sign in to view my support ticket.
My account was disabled and I don't know why. I contacted support and they responded however I can't view their response ticket because I can't login. What am I supposed to do? If I don't respond in a couple days, then the support request will be closed.6Views0likes1CommentI can't access my paid account because the email address is expired; how can I get a refund?
So I have an old email that has expired. I didn't even know that my associated Dropbox account was still active, but it apparently is because I have a charge on my credit card for the $119 renewal fee. That's a lot of money for something I can't even use, much less want at this time! Pulling out my hair because I have no way to sign in and no way to get a refund. It is ridiculous that there is no way to talk to an actual person to resolve these issues! I looked at the support page for billing and there was nothing that I could find regarding this particular issue. Very frustrated and would appreciate some help!21Views0likes2CommentsWill I still be able to access my Dropbox while abroad? I'll be changing sim cards
I will be traveling abroad on vacation. I will have to switch out my sim card in order to get data at my destination abroad. If I switch out the sim card, will I still be able to access my dropbox while abroad? I have an iPhone XR if it matters.11Views0likes1CommentInaccessible account due to lost 2FA options with existing support ticket
Hi everyone, I'm posting this from a new Dropbox account because I'm completely locked out of my original one, and support hasnât been helpful. Iâve been going back and forth with Dropbox support (Ticket #24909124) and keep getting the same scripted responses, even after clearly explaining that I donât have access to: My old phone or number Any backup codes Any linked device I get that security is important, but there should be some way to recover an accountâID verification, billing info, anything. Right now it feels like Iâm being shut out permanently with no real path forward. Has anyone dealt with this before or successfully escalated a similar issue? Is there a way to get past the generic support and reach someone who can actually review the situation? Would appreciate any advice or tips. Thanks, Pasha36Views0likes5CommentsLocked out of an account while trying to update the email address
I am a registered disabled person, in Australia, and several of my service providers use your e-signing system for me to access my services. So, I am currently unable to access critical support services until this matter is resolved. When changing an account email address, your workflow is designed so poorly that it is possible to update the email address in the account before we have verified the new email address, in the email you have sent. So, when we try to verify the new email address to log in, it states: "Please confirm your email or use old email address to login." However, the old email address in the account we've just updated has already been changed. So when we try to log into it, it says: "Invalid username or password." Now I can't contact you from that account at all because I am locked out of it and the only way you can open a ticket is by logging in. I have had to resort to asking a friend to post this to the forum to see if there is anything we can do to resolve this!26Views0likes1CommentMy iPhone was stolen and two-factor authentication is preventing my account access.
My iphone was stolen, and two factor authentication is stopping me from logging in. A code is supposed to be sent to my new phone, but I never receive it. Sometimes I receive an error message that says there was an error sending the code. I changed my password on my account with the Apple Private Relay address, but I am not receiving the code, so I canât logon. I have 2 factor authentication on, and I canât get the code from the Auth App either because of the stolen phone. See attached screenshot with error message Dropbox Support staff says I will never be able to recover my account because the email address is an Apple private relay address and I cannot send them an email from this address. This is ridiculous. I have recovered other accounts elsewhere that use Appleâs private relay address. Dropbox Support says they are going to just close my Help Desk Ticket without helping me further/with no resolution. This seems to be bad security recovery design. I would appreciate any help in gaining access to my account. I only have one device- my new iPhone. Thanks150Views0likes8Comments
